Partnerships
Western Concert Guide considers collaborations that are relevant to concert culture and useful to its readers. Partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage, and commercial material is kept distinct from independent editorial decisions.
Suitable collaborations
We may consider clearly bounded partnerships such as an educational resource, a concert-format explainer, a reader-facing cultural project or a relevant placement linking to a partner resource. Proposals should explain the subject, intended audience, material offered and any commercial relationship.
Partner placements
We accept relevant partner placements when the destination and surrounding description are clear and appropriate to the publication. Placements are labelled as partner material, and their wording must not imply editorial endorsement, independent review or a relationship that does not exist.
Editorial boundaries
Partners cannot buy a favourable verdict, suppress an editorial conclusion or disguise promotional material as independent reporting. We may decline proposals that are unrelated, misleading or unsuitable for readers. To discuss an idea, use the Contact page and select partnership.
The room is part of the music
A concert is shaped by more than the work being played. We look at the formats, spaces and conventions that affect how audiences hear and understand it.
